Next Day
Demi's POV:
I wake up shockingly refreshed. I'm ready for the day, for school, for Nick... I'm very excited to see him. It's terrifying not knowing what's going to happen between me and him. What if he doesn't like me? Urgh, Demi you so stupid! If he didn't like you he wouldn't of kissed back. Mmm, that kiss was perfect! The right mix of love, passion, and lust. "mmm," I moan as I replay it in my mind. It begins again immediately after we start to pull apart. A depressing thought runs through my mind after the fifth time it repeats. What about Joe? What's going to happen between us? I know he'd rather be with Selena, I'm not blind it's just...I don't want to believe it. I don't want us to end. But out of something bad, a good thing sprouts right?...or something like that. These are the times I wish I had a mother. She would be very helpful at this moment. I snap out of my thoughts as my phone rings in the distance. I smile as I read the name on the screen.
"Hello Nick," I sing.
"How'd you know it was me?" he says faking shocked.
"It's this new thing called, Caller I.D.," I laugh.
"I knew that," He says innocently, "I just wanted to make sure you knew."
"Why did you call Nick?" I press.
"Gee, it's good to talk to you too."
"I'm sorry," I say sweetly, "how can I help you honey?"
He chuckles slightly, "Much better. I wanted to know...if you wanted to ditch today...?"
"Nick Jonas, skipping school?" I fake gasp, "what has this world turned to?"
"Ha ha, very funny, I was hoping that we could talk some more...maybe even..." He faded out.
" make out?" I guess hopefully.
"Yeah," he fades back in.
"I meant to talk to you about that...in person though."
"oh?" he sounds nervous.
"no, it's not bad...at least I don't think it will be," I explain.
"See you in 10? On the shore?" he says.
"It's a date," I say as I hang up.
Normal POV:
Nick: *walking across the beach; talking to himself* how am I going to do this?
Koda: *barking at a silhouette in the distance*
Nick: shut up Koda I'm think about how to ask Demi out.
Demi: What about me?
Nick: *turns around* oh, Hey Demi.
Demi: hi. Don't act like a stranger Nick *hugs him*
Nick: sorry, I didn't expect you to come this early.
Demi: yeah, well, I decided to take a break from the make up thing. I gained like a whole hour. *laughs*
Nick: *smiles* you look beautiful either way.
Demi: *blushes* thank you. *nudged against her leg* what the? *sees Koda* Hi cutie! I haven't seen you in a while!
Nick: he sure did miss you. We both did.
Demi: you saw me yesterday.
Nick: I missed you lips. *smirks slyly*
Demi: They missed you too *blushes, suddenly shy*
Nick: let's change that *he pulls her close; leans in*
Demi: *leans in too.*
Nick: *rubs his lips against hers; teasing*
Demi: Don't do that *whispers*
Nick: sorry *kisses her passionately*
Nick POV:
Her lips complimented mine with a perfect greeting. Her strawberry lips joined my mint prepared lips in a tango of lust. We were heaving breathing 2 minutes later when we pulled apart. Koda sat there whining. Her cute laugh fills my head as bends to kiss him the head.
She returns with a worried look on her face.
"what's wrong?" I ask.
"What am I going to do about Joe?" she says solemnly.
"Dump him." It's pretty obvious, he cheats, she dumps him. It's simple. But I know she doesn't want to give him up as much as he has hurt her. It hurts me too. "Coldstone?" I offer.
"huh?" she snaps out of thought.
"To get your mind off of things...ice cream cures the soul," I joke. But seriously having something cold and sweet slide down your system you feel refreshed.
"mmkay, what about Koda?" she laughs.
I look down at a love struck Koda. I chuckle slightly, "he knows his way home."
"we can't just leave him alone. What if a random stranger comes and kills him, or takes him, or something?" she worries.
"He'll be fine Dem," I chuckle. Got to love Demi.
Normal POV:
Demi: *walking, eating her ice cream, humming*
Nick: *smiles* what song is that?
Demi: huh?
Nick: the song you're humming?
Demi: oh, Perfect Two. It's been stuck in my head all day.
Nick: *smiles wider* well you have a good humming voice.
Demi: *laughs* thank you? I guess.
Nick: anytime.
Demi:...what's going to happen between us?
Nick: the only reason I haven't ask you out is 1.) I'm waiting for you and Joe to break up. And 2.) I'm still trying to find the right way to do it.
Demi: *chuckles slightly* Just a plain will you go out with me would be fine you know?
Nick: Not for me. I have to do it in the sweetest way possible *smirks*
Demi: *smiles cheeky* okay I'll just wait.
Nick: and work on breaking up with Joe? *anxious*
Demi: of course *grins*
