  • We use to do the air cleaner upside down trick on our 83 Olds Delta 88. It sounded fun but I don't ever remember being able to burn out!

  • change spark plugs and advance timing, wah-la

  • Or just use the 77 Buick Lesabre with the 403 and forget about it!

  • comm 75: you know what man, i'm kickin myself rite now! cuz i had a chance to get one at auction, and i didnt bid on it cuz the tranny didnt work. -dooah-

  • A 307 or a 403? I have a 77 Buick Lesabre that was my parents. It was passed down to my brother who drove it in high school and then to me. I kept it and have driven it since 91. It now has 192000 miles on it. Starting to slow down. I am always ebaying to look for another one. I'd buy a 307 in either a LeSabre or a Delta 88 too.

  • A 403, the engine sticker was so clean, it was gold with tan velour int. and had the rally mags on it too

  • Anyway to install a manual trans in these cars?

  • i got an 84 lesabre limited, i did the air cleaner cover trick as well as turned it to true dual exhaust, it has 321000 miles on it and not a hickup other than the regular issues, i love that car, and the kicker was i picked it up for 250 bucks

  • love these cars i got an 83 caprice classic, my dad had a white lesabre same year when i was a few yeas old

  • I was thinking thats not the original 307 in there LOL, nice smoke

  • That's the color of my 77! Gold with pale, pale yellow vinyl roof and tan crushed velour interior. You don't have the URL do ya? I'd love to see the car!
