Violet Gonda has a severe inferiority complex, which she is trying to cover up by siding with the opressor.

She is talking to a man who risked his life for the freedom she now enjoys.

Someone who is still trying to give meaning to independence, by getting the land back.

Violet Gonda works for Voice Of America (VOA), which is sponsored by the CIA.

Some time ago, I e-mailed them whether they wanted to correct the racist idea that the good harvest in Zambia had been caused by a few white farmers who had migrated there from Zimbabwe.

I pointed out to them that by far most maize is not grown by commercial farmers, but ordinary small farmers, who are black Zambians (and Zimbabweans). They were responsible for the record harvest.

Gonda and VOA did not respond.

@mashekisheni, @kudachihuri, I think if Chinoz was not comfortable with English he should have simply said so, I'm quite sure the interviewer would have used Shona. Chinoz actually snobs as he speaks to show that he is enjoying this & who are you to pity the gentleman.............@kudachi­huri, your language is pathetic & mind your spelling eg 'dosent' next time use venecular too

English is the international language anywhere in the world and this interview is not only for Shona people but every Zimbabwean since people speak various languages ...remember this is now a matter of international transparency , Chinotimba was bound to speak in that language so that everyone , Shona , Venda , Ndebele etc can also hear what is being discussed .

zimbabweans have a problem they dont know the difference between language and knowledge knowing English dosent make you smart. Plenty of people in asia dont know a word of english but they are the most intelligent people on this planet. be proud of your own language my people

@Mashekizeni I agree. I don't like the guy and the Zanu crew, but Zimbabweans have a seriously disgusting colonial mentality that english is the evidence of intelligence. Here english accent is so bad and forced. She's a mess.
