Native American Indian Pow wow - Womens dance group 1

Old footage of White Swan Reservation Pow wow located in Washington state. This group is led by Esther George and her sisters. There was a group of three Indian women dance in a competition for a special held by a local family and this was one group. The women of the area wear basket hats which you can see in the video. Their outfits are completely beaded. Plateau Indians live in the area between the Cascade Range and the Rocky Mountains and north of the Great Basin.

We Paiutes were blessed to see their beauty and the grace these beautiful ladies dancing.

Beautiful done! Interesting basket hats. Is that new or what? I don't know much about Pow Wows but I like watching the dances.

No Basket hats are family owned hats. Some passed down for generations and some new. This type of hat is part of the Plateu culture that is very old. You probably don't see them if you are not from this region.

some of these peeps get good money look at my cousin gracie her many horses, world champion fancy dancer. she went all the way to the olympics as a dance troupe. now thats better then any pow-wow to go to. Dance troupe got my respect. and others who dont can kiss my lakota azz! hahaha!
