I stormed Papellotte first, with 2 units of Fusaliers, brought up 2 units of Grenaiers to assist in the assault to come, and then, I braced for the Prussians, I see that to win, you have to do two things... 1: Assalut from the right, they are the farthest from the foot guards, they are the least defended, and the Prussians arrive from there. 2. Defeat the Prussians BEFORE you face the British, if Napoleon had finished off the Prussians, he might, and probably would have won at Waterloo.

@TheSofyann I set this battle on the hardest level setting. I was surprised to see that the Brits had allies on the far right caught me off guard.

I don't like your way of playing. You don't use square formation, you pack your troops in small squares instead of making many long lines... try to circle your opponent and fire him from all sides... just my opinion

@vertical3life I agree...great strategy in pinning down the Prussians, but the positioning of troops...bad. Good game though. :)

I took the farm on the right (melee attack with grenadiers) and hold the building. When the prussians came I sent ~5 companies of infantry (Old Guard, Young Guard) and perhaps 1-2 cavalry to confront them. They were annihilated.

After that I took those troops and flanked the Brits on the right and did a simultaneous feint attack with 2 infantry on the left farm to bind their forces

I played on highest difficulty and and it was pretty easy because Old Guard and Young Guard are just insane.

@vycaso I first disabled the artilery on far right and attack Papellot with 2 fussiliers and 2 divisions of grenadires and open fire with artliery on the black watch and all made in square formation and waited for prussians when they come the british will attack intercept them with 3 divisons of fusilers and young guard and the the other force contretate on prusians and with the cavalary flank gen Bucher

you play Good but you need to have faster command speed,i mean you need to speed up your hands man so that you can reform your men quickly on your extreme right.

at 6:29 you should use squere formation it would wipe them out

@GenericAsianBoyLTD I'm not saying he wasn't a genius and battle number isn't particulary important, it's decicive battles that win wars and that's why I think people like Lord Nelson are one of the greats, all great military men, don't think we could single one out :P

@Destroyer831642 But Napoleon wasn`t expecting the Prussians he thought Grоuchy will keep them busy.

In the game you can win but for Napoleon (in real life) was impossible .
