  • @TheDeXisOnFire He's Puerto Rican. Cedric's Mexican. Genius.

  • mexican genious

  • @AirHendrix91 true... but he has done a lot of work. he's earned it. it comes off pretentious but what's he gonna say? "ah, i dont make that many albums. i dont do music all the time." but he does... so...

  • genio psicodelico

  • @canthinkverywell true, well its been almost 10 years since they formed, and a band changes a lot in a decade... volta never lets me down, so im stoked for this "different" approach they will be taking and yeah he let cedric have more time on this, (more time means much more writing to their ideas) I also feel they are getting more straight foward musically and lyrically... but they still have their secretive side.... they are todays led zep mixed with pink floyd!

  • I love Omar but he can be a slight pretentious pompous prick on how much work he's done.

Good work ethic and output though, just slightly cocky sometimes.

  • @ItUnidentified yeah but he writes like 2 albums between every released album, then by the time warner is ready to release it he doesn't like it anymore and throws it out. he finished one now and cedric's doing all the vocal/lyrical work on it so hopefully when cedric's done with that omar will still like it and warner will release it IMMEDIATELY

  • @canthinkverywell i thought they took long cause he writes thoroughly and he has a lot of control over what is written, they are on warner, also they wrote an album but scrapped it according to omar it was "getting boring"

  • @ItUnidentified but they all take way too fuckin long to release albums! ive already listened to blue sky noise a million times! at least now they have the appendage ep too, its pretty sick. and volta always has albums they dont release immediately or dont release ever, it sucks, and its mostly their label's fault

  • @canthinkverywell dude all sick bands! circa has had less experience but has caught up quick, volta and bandits....fucking amazing!
