yeah ...nothing compared to doom3 but ok. i know a bartender,age 50, that was working in a club next to the net cafe i used to work. one night dude came at the cafe and said he wants to play something. i recomended him quake 4 and the guy starts the game from the beggining and after 2 minutes trough the game there's a scene when a strogg ape gorrila (or whatever the fuck those things are) breaks trough a wall of pipes and reaches to grab you... dude craped his pants...

lol i know i just cant get past the part i get lost or die 4 no reson i remember i let one of my younger friends play this it scared the shit out of him in like the first few minuts

then u'r near the end ... now you have to beat the macron's ass , then destroy the nexus. gotta admit i finnished it before on lower difficulty settings but that was like 2 years ago...when i had a shitty video card :D

where did you find that audio?
i'm looking for that audio to find out more about the Quake storyline about how it all started but can't find anything on it
you'd be of great help if you could give me a link or anything about that audio from the first 40 seconds

The spoken audio is from quake 2. I recorded the whole thing using fraps and then extracted the audio from the video file using cool edit pro. The music is a sound track from quake 3.
