The christmas Spirit [3]

i'm sooooo excited! and if your a true Jonas fan you know why ;)

After a five hour plane ride, and six calls from her angry boss asking why she was leaving Lakelin was annoyed and sleepy, and so was Addi. She had already arranged for a black town car to come pick them up, and boy was she ready to go to bed. The family could wait until the morning. A large "Welcome to the Nashville Airport" glowed. It was 1 AM.
"Don't tell me we have to go to your house tonight.." Addi said in a groggy voice.
"No, we're staying at the Marriott tonight. I have a suite rented then we will drive over to the house tomorrow. I have a chauffer rented for the whole week, so we'll be fine."
"Whatever, as long as it has a bed not made out of hay, I can deal."
Lake shook her head as they walked toward the luggage pick up. Their bags rolled around on the strip and they grabbed them and began walking to the exit, as soon as they stepped out the cold wind hit them and they buttoned up their pea coats. A man leaned up against a black sleek town car.
"Are you Ms. Cyrus & Ms. Lovato?"
"Yes."
"I'm Michal, and ill be your driver for the rest of the week, where are we going?"
Lakelin handed him a address and he shook his head and opened their door. Addison and Lakelin climbed in, exhaused, and collapsed in a huff. Tomorrow was going to be a long day. Finally they felt the car roll to a stop and the door was opened.
"What time do I need to arrive tomorrow miss?" Michal asked.
She looked at Addi, and she gave her the eye.
"ten."
"Yes mam. Have a good night."
Their bags were sitting outside the car, and he drove off.
"Poor service, didn't even carry our bags." Addi sniffed.
"We're not in New York anymore.." Lake said.
Addi mustered up a laugh and they rolled inside the hotel. It wasn't crap, but not the five star they were used too of well, all she wanted was sleep. They checked in and climbed into the elevator, they finally reached the top floor and entered their suite. It was nice, and homey. But it had two beds, and thats all that mattered. She dropped her bag, got a wake up call, and hit the matress before she could even say goodnight.
The phone rang clear that morning and it took all of Lakelins will to answer it.
"Hello" she said in a groggy voice.
"Good morning Ms. Cyrus!" said a too cheery woman. "This is your wake up call!"
"Yeah, thanks."
SHe hung up the phone and rolled out of bed. Addi hadn't even cared to cover up and her head was hanging off the bed her mouth wide open. Lake laughed a little and went to wake her up.
"Get up Addi, we gotta go to my see my family."
"Ten more minutes." she groaned shoving her head under the pillow.
"Its 8:45, and we are leaving at ten."
"I dont care.."
"Theres cute guys supposably."
SHe jumped out of the bed.
"Dibs on first shower!"
"yeah right!" Lakelin screeched as she shot off to the bathroom and locked herself in it. Addi banged on the door and screamed, she finally heard the shower turn on and walked to her suitcase to pick her clothes out.
After two hours of fighting, grooming, and makeup, Addi and Lakelin looked flawless, as if they didnt always. Addi was wearing black leather pants with a long blue shirt. Strappy black pumps. She had a black coat on and she could tell she was cold, but thats the sacrafices they make. Lakelin had on a white wool skirt, red tights, a red cashmere sweater, a white pea coat, red scarf, a white beanie, and black slack boots. Not exactly Tenessee material, but hey neither was she. The ar pulled up and Michal opened the door for us. They slipped on my Chanel glasses and smiled.
"Thank you."
He shook his head as they slipped into the back. The scenery passed, green trees, pastures, occasional wal-mart. Then she saw her plantation. A huge white house set on a hill. Addi kinda gaped.
"You never told me."
"What?"
"That your house was huge...?"
"Oh yeah, kinda forgot to mention." She replied staring out the window.
"yeah, i can tell.."
The car drove up the winding driveway and finally stopped at the front of the house. Michael opened the door.
"Thanks!" she said.
They walked up the steps and watched the car pull off.
"well this is it." she said smiling at Addi.
"guess so."
Lakelin pushed the door bell and waited for her motheres high pitch shrill break the clear morning air. But instead the door opened calmly and a gorgeous boy answered the door.
"Uh Trish, this isn't the pizza guy" he yelled.
and he turned around and smiled at her.
