This was around 5 pm, there were some pretty good cells south of Gander moving east that were producing some awesome lightning strikes, unfortunately i didnt capture any on camera. These cells were pretty cool to watch though. About a half hour later the one that was down near the end of the lake hit town (seen at end of video), bringing some heavy rain and a few flicks of lightning/rumbles of thunder, nothing severe just a mild thundershower. Temperature today was about 23C (74F).
What an awesome place to watch storms, very nice view:D

  • at the time i took the video they were about 25 km away, and one hit shortly after

  • That was a cool view where you could see all of them from that distance. You should stand there more often and film these, eh?
