i still wouldn't say "he's not trying to be 'metal' ", these vocals still count as metal vocals IMO

i never said he was the only one doing it, i was just responding to the people complaining that his voice wasnt grindy.

but yeah, theres alot of bands that sing like this. (and for a reason, it sounds good)

yeah... he sounds nothing at all like the hundreds of vocalists in this subgenre who sound extremely similar. And nothing at all like ozzy.

The singer is really what sells me this band, hes not trying to be "metal" or a badass, he's just singing in the style that best carries the music.

I think the vocalist is going towards the stoner/grunge/doom metal type of vocals. Listen to some of those style of bands and you will understand.

people say alot of crap about the vocalist in my oppinion he has a really cool voice

but hes needs to use more roughness in his voice jsut a bit more grind to it
