Theresa Davis has forged an impressive start as a solo performer, winning poetry slams and featuring at spoken word venues around Atlanta. In August 2005, working with the incredible Dawn Axam movement, words came together in a beautiful collaboration. The poems "Killer" and "Warning Signs" were choreographed as a part of the debut of Mrs. Axam's new dance company. Theresa reclaimed her "Cunt" in the Vagina Monologues sharing the stage with Eve Ensler, Jane Fonda, Pearl Cleage, and the fabulous Doria Roberts. Current projects include two chap books Rock Star Poet and Poems With the Word Love in Them which will also become a spoken word CD, and Pirates, Princesses and Poetry her novel a work in progress. She is a member of Word Diversity Collective, Cliterati, and the 2007 National Semi Finalist Art Amok Slam Team (2006 & 2007).
