@KruegerLot Yeah, it was quite well known because people bought tickets to see him in Hamlet and the understudy had to play his part for some of it. That's how I heard anyways. Didn't know about Matt Smith though since it happened before he was famous.

I love how David starts laughing hysterically after the first shock. I think it really did scare and hurt him a little bit. Poor David. :P

Dude, lie detectors aren't always conclusive.

I think he just found out that he had to keep his pulse calm...

To those who want him to do Columbo, sorry to burst your bubble, but he's too tall to be Columbo. Peter Falk was 5 ft. 6, and David's 6 ft. 1.
Also, mushroomshrub, you misspelled David's last name; it's spelled Tennant, not Tennent.

@paolinifan The seventh.

@KruegerLot Alright. Thanks. I think I knew it was Matt Smith, but I wasn't thinking pre Doctor Who, but still, thanks for clearing it up.

@TennantJunkie1993 Matt Smith, he was in high school on the soccer team (pardon me, I mean football team), and he hurt his back. Apparently his drama teacher got him into acting.

@KruegerLot Who was the first?

@ConversationBomb Hahahaha! "when you add electricity" That made me crack up! :D
I love his reaction from the first shock. " That's never a lie detector !"
