There are only two reasons why anyone would miss this work, they have an illness of the inner ear and will have to wait a little till technology catches up or they have an allergic reaction to C flat which makes it very hard to follow the performance. One of the best interventions in philharmonic performances in years. I grew up with L. Bernstein introducing me gently to the world of "serious" music. I think this is one of those moments I hope my kids will take with them. Thank you!
