I had this surgery Dec '07. I started playing Racquetball in June '08. Recovery was extremely easy, for me at least. I will have to have my other side done eventually and will not wait nearly as long as I did for the first one.

  • I must be the exception to the rule I had this done on April 8 th and I was doing pretty good but for some unknown reason my hip dislocated on the 17 th of March I was in the hospital flat on my back for the next 3 weeks and I am still having a great deal of pain I can't sleep more than and hour at a time or sit for more than a half hour I am thinking I didn't chose a very good surgeon what do all of you think about all the trouble I am having anyone else gone though any thing like this

  • @jimdnm

I feel for you brother! I do not know your situation, but I am still playing racquetball and exercising pretty hard. Dislocation is always in the back of my mind and if I feel like I am bending the "wrong" way I straighten up quick! I really hope it holds up for a long time. How did you dislocate yours? I hope things go better for you!!!
