I took up boxing and jijitsu (I don't know how to spell it), and it turned my life around. Truthfully alot of my friends drink and some smoke, but this is kind of a way out of all of that. It is also a way for me to get away from the busy life in Chicago. I have never thought about using my skills in the streets, that's another thing. I used to do it for fun, but then I seriously got into it and won the silver gloves championship.

Thanks GeorgetownHoyas1984 :) . He's improved since then (tall, good technique, good moving), but the main idea is just to do some kind of sports, socialize and make friends. In short - to keep him off the streets. But if he wants to achieve some results, too, I'll give him my support.
