for developing fingerpicking , first try pluking the strings in order 654321 , 123456 .. just basic ... then skip one note each like 642/135 ... try out different patterns .. well this is a little advance classical guitar technique ... to pluck the bass strings use ur thumb .. and for lower three use ur index, middle and ring finger ... pinky finger should be free
