Hi Everyone :) this is My Paper card stock SR71, it has a 9mm depron foam Frame in it for strength, I dont know if this has been done before or not, But i wanted to give it a Try, it has a 2836 turnigy motor with a 2350 KV , a 6x5.5 APC prop, a 40 amp esc and a 2350mah 3 cell lipo 20C, for now :) , I want to uset a 4 cell lipo in it later, the 3 cell is for testing, and it worked great, it draws 40 amp, and 440 Watts, as you can see it, flew very very well, my friend steve did the maiden on it, while i did the video of the maiden Flight, Enjoy the video, Chellie

  • Hi Tony :) I just used some red and yellow paper streamers taped to the rear jet exhaust, when the jet is flying, they stream out of the back and look like a flame :) LOL , Thank you for the complement, Take care

  • Nice job on the build Chellie!!! How did you do the afterburners? Is is just paint or do you have something else back there?

  • Hi Marty , thank you for the info on the 3700kv motor, I needed to use a 6" prop for thrust on this jet because it big :) , I will try one of the 3700kv motors soon, i love these cheapy turnigy motors, they work great for the money, Take care, Chellie
