New Zealand were undoubtedly on top of the rugby world with one of the best teams ever to play the game. There 3-0 test series victory over the British and Irish Lions was known as "the blackwash" because of there utter dominance, aggresion and style. The amount of quality of rugby displayed in just three matches was simply breathtaking. The British and Irish Lions were disappointed with the result of the series but will admit being beaten by a "better side".


Not to forget a terrific performance from Daniel Carter.
