superquality sound , diggin!
-
You can play very good guitar! :-)
-
@MidnightRaid777 Its loud enough.
-
I am thinking of buying this amp, to run through a single Vintage 30, do you reckon that would be loud enough for small gigs? I'm not interested in clean sounds.
-
I have a friend who replaced the stock preamp tubes in this head with JJ ECC803S in V1 and regular JJ 12ax7's in V2 and V3 and swapped out the EL84's for 7189's (a hifi tube that works as a drop in replacement for EL84's) and he can actually play really heavy high-gain stuff on it and get sounds you'd expect from a high-gain metal amp with KT88's. It's extremely tight and crystal clear and sounds killer for hardcore/punk/metal tones at very low and high volumes.

what other amps are thoose underneath the jet city???
-
Nice Demo! Thank you for playing some clean tones. It all sounds great but I appreciate being able to hear the amp clean.
-
I guess You like Thin Lizzy a lot...
Nice tones!
-
@JTsoBEASTLY would that be loud enough to gig with or play over a drummer?
-
Seriously the clean channel tones sold me on this amp, anything can distort but clean tubes with a little warmth, that is tone.
Hey Great demo ! Is this thing LOUD enough to play with a drummer ? Thanks, Matt

@mchapeyron well, it depends on your drummer - don't expect to get any clean sounds with a loud drummer, you know . . .

does the clean channel still stay that clean with humbuckers at full volume? if so i'm completely sold on this amp.

@41224jason : No, depends on the strenghts of your buckers though . . .
