I grew up musically by listening to this music. It was my first exposure to live jazz. I went to see these guys play in the Club Aquarium any time they were in Warsaw. With time I started to listen to Laboratorium's main influences, and went back to study more traditional Jazz forms as a guitar player and composer.

V době, kdy nebylo dost dobře možné poslouchat dobrou hudbu u nás v Československu, jsme se uchylovali k sousedním zemím, kde cenzura, přestože fungovala, tuto muziku kupodivu nezakazovala. Byli jsme vděčni za možnost sehnat gramodesky v prodejnách kultury jak Polské, tak Maďarské . Přesto se na mnohé nedostalo.... Av proto děkuji organizacím těchto zemí za umožnění poslouchat nejeden kulturní zážitek.
