SEN. BIDEN: Well, they're both extremely, extremely dangerous.
I always have focused -- as you know -- (chuckles) -- Gwen, I've been
focusing on for a long time, along with Barack, on Pakistan. Pakistan
already has nuclear weapons. Pakistan already has deployed nuclear
weapons. Pakistan's weapons can already hit Israel and the
Mediterranean.
Iran getting a nuclear weapon would be very, very destabilizing.
They are more than -- they are not close to getting a nuclear weapon
that's able to be deployed.
So they're both very dangerous. They'd both be game-changers.
But look, here's what the fundamental problem I have with John's
policy about terror and stability. John continues to tell us that the
central war in the front on terror is in Iraq. I promise you, if an
attack comes in the homeland, it's going to come -- as our -- our
security services have said -- it's going to come from al Qaeda
planning in the hills of Afghanistan and Pakistan. That's where they
live. That's where they are. That's where it will come from.
And right now that resides in Pakistan. A stable government
needs to be established. We need to support that democracy by helping
them not only with their military, but with their governance as well
as their economic well-being. There have been 7,000 madrassas built
along that border. We should be helping them build schools to compete
for those hearts and minds of the people in the region so that we
actually are able to take on terrorism.
And by the way, that's where bin Laden lives, and we will go at
him if we have actionable intelligence.

USA will never attack Iran but will make it powerful indirectly to dominant on middle east means down soudis up persians. USA may attack pakistan.To understand this read the last three post.

Typical condition is that either Pakistan have to destroy terrorism or USA have to destroy Pakistan.To destroy terrorism completely you have to do two things.First cut the line of money flow from Soudi Arab,Kuwait,Katar etc to TALIBAN etc. Second push PAKISTAN and AFGHANISTAN to the alignment of INDIA (formation like european union among India,Pak ,Afganistan)which CHINA don't want because in that case INDIA will dominate on central asia.USA have to think on this point.

Every western country knows differences of nature and attitude between Iran people and arabian people.Iran people are scientific,progressive neither shout for sharia law nor wear black dress in west, no possibility for becoming terrorists, NOT HARMFUL TO WEST and entire opposite of Arabian peninsula people in mentality. A powerful Iran can stop adventure of two super powers(of 2040 and later) from the east to the west although they are Iran's historic friends from 1500 BC.

USA killed Iraq and created a power-vacuum in the middle east so that Iran can grow and fill up the vacuum and dominate in middle east. If USA want to attack Iran then it must lured it's OLD ally Iraq providing huge weapons instead of apparently meaningless removal of Iran's enemy.But it did the opposite.USA will continuously shout because it's main OIL Base in Soudi Arabia from where 9/11 attackers came or next possible attack may come.It's little bit complex political science.
