This is the in-game soundtrack for the PC game "MechWarrior 2: 31st Century Combat" (1995) from Activision and FASA Corporation. It was composed by Gregory Alper and Jeehun Hwang.

You can actually hear all of these songs (26 in total) when you put the "MechWarrior 2" game CD in your stereo and skip track number one which is the data track.

This is the 1st music track on the CD, called "Umber Wall".

  • I haven't played this in years... Bloody nostalgic, this. I need to get my old Windows 95 comp running again...

  • You can even play it on Vista 64-Bit via DOS Box (and some tweaks), just google for it...

  • @Trappe1983 Can you play it on windows 7?

  • @M3iscool I haven't tried to play it on Windows 7 yet but I don't think that there would be a problem if you're running it via DOS box.

  • Just like the good old days. I played this game in my childhood and this game kicked ass back then when LCD monitors haven't been invented yet. This music is very inspiring along with the other ones they are well worth listening too. They are like easy listening music. The composers should be proud of themselves. All hail DosBoX!

  • Ahh, *sits back remembers*

    Good times

  • Releasing mom's com, its time for dinner XD such a great game on great platforms.

  • @Trappe1983

Doesn't just the DOS version of the game run on DosBox or does the Win95 version also work?

  • @Trappe1983 It can be done. Easiest way is with a disc image; but I think you need to use the DOS/WIN version, not Titanium.

  • @Trappe1983 I ran it with the adaptive compatibility feature that windows 7 has. But there were a lot of problems with crashing and glitches. So I was asking to see if you had any suggestions. Have not tried the DOS box thing yet. Maybe give that a shot.

  • @DesertFerret7 easy listen its bringing the rambo out in me !!

  • Oh, man. This brings me back! :)
