Who knew Sherlock could have such a sick, twisted and evil mind? Well, I suppose he was a drug addict and an alcoholic...

  • They really had a thing for killing Moriarty by dropping him from heights. The only cinematic exception I can think of was that horrid "Sherlock Holmes & the Deadly Necklace" with Christopher Lee.

  • @NostalgicHolmes Yeah, there's a great moment in this film when he falls through a trapdoor and Holmes says something like 'Looks like somebody forgot to close the trapdoor' ! lol

  • no shit sherlock!

  • @6045310708 sherlock holmes and the secret weapon theres a colorized version too its only like 9 bucks on amazon

  • @TheDrYes So it's a movie then? Do you know what it's called?

  • @6045310708 he tortures holmes in a surgical room till watson frees him and then theres a gun fight between the nazis and british police and well most comments suggest how the film ends

  • my favorite of all the films im so fortunate to have it in color (not that black and white isnt good too)

  • wow what a cliffhanger! Never seen this before, does anyone know where I can find what happens next??

  • @Domanese still -- seeing as Watson is such a blithering idiot, you think Holmes would be sneaky enough to forsee the possibility that he didn't turn up -- what with Watson and Lestrade leading the search party -- and maybe thought of another slow but possibly less painful death --! :p

  • @SneverusSnapers On point B) Actually in this movie it's to Holmes advantage because the method of death takes too long and as such buys the time Holmes would need for his backup to arrive. God knows in this version of Sherlock Holmes he needs all the time he can get with Watson reduced to a blundering sidekick. In short he played on Moriarty's ego and hubris to give Holmes the victory. AKA a big ass villain ball.

  • 'even offhand..' I'm sorry...what is WRONG with Holmes? I thought he was supposed to be a) chivalrous and b) clever

    a) he's totally sick and judging by his sincerity would actually do that to Moriarty

    b) how stupid is he to suggest such a twisted and painful death when Moriarty's trying to decide how to kill him?

Loved this though in the film! I actualy thought Holmes was suggesting this because he had a sneaky way out if Moriarty tried to kill him in this way; not the truth I'm afraid!

  • i love basil rathbone's snotty, yet high class interpretation of sherlock holmes!
