Apartment Fire (Delaware)

Just a few clips from a typical garden style apartment fire. In this case the fire was knocked down quickly, but water damage and vent openings resulted in the relocation of 6 families. Filmed by Lou Angeli.

Lanesboro -- It was a Sunday night, with mutual aid response from about 6 volunteer departments, New Castle County paramedics and the University of Delaware BLS unit. You can't see the 3 side of the building but firefighters made a number of rescues using ground ladders.

Inside I wear full turnout and SCBA using a Panasonic HVX200 HD Camera, which has its own firecoat. My biggest concern being radiant heat. I use Sony Vegas 6.0 for editing.
