I am in favor of natural ears too. In fact, nearly 80 percent of the pets I sell now are nat. earred. With the exception of TOP QUALITY show dogs (as opposed to the avg champion quality) natural ears are fine even in the ring in the US these days. But to win at the highest levels such as Westminster, you have to crop. Nonetheless, we have come a long way and I continue to promote leaving ears natural for the most part. No, this deer was hand raised because her mother was hit by a car and the owners of the dog could not let the deer starve to death so they took her home and fed her a bottle.
