No commodore did, non understanding that they had to make the machine more modular to compete with the pc market (and also to make software houses produce morestuff for offices)

Yes they did, but then again; if people had bought the games after checking out the piratecopies the industry would, doubtless, have lasted longer, but the death of the Amiga was destined to happen. The real murder of the amiga was conducted by two persons namely Irving Gould and Mehdi Ali - and they will never get absolution for their actions (or LACK of actions).

"When dreams come true"... well my dream never came true; and that was to become a memeber of Fairlight. Guess it was my own fault for being born too late and being a modemtrader instead of a coder-wiz... anyway, they made a huge impact on my "teen-hood" which I wouldn't trade for any major release :)
And even today Fairlight is still alive on the web!

Have been an FLT member way bak on the C64. Enjoyed working with Tron, Bacchus, Ogami, Strider and the others. It has been my best time way back, when 8 bit were enough!
