Christian asks: Was Prophet Muhammed just Insane?

I came to this video with an open mind and came to a question at the end. If Muhammad was a 'mad man' simply for never lying and and claiming to be The Prophet of God, then how is it that Jesus is accepted for not lying and (according to Christians) claiming to be the son of God? Surely Jesus would be more insane than Muhammad because he went a step further (according to Christians) and claimed to be the son of God? Happy Thinking :)

Further to your point. The Christian claims are based upon the assumption Jesus actually used the term 'Son of God' when referring to himself; and the further assumption that the narratives written about him (by people who never met him) are true. Secondly, Jesus was a Jew, and as the Jews would have understood, the term 'Son of God' means a holy man, Prophet or special man of God. Thus, the Torah calls Adam and David (and an Angel) all a 'Son of God'.

Histories of Mohammed say that Mohammed thought himself insane and terrified and it was the women that convinced Mohammed that it was something to do with God and then Mohammed came to believe the women. But on his own, Mohammed was terrified and did not know himself what the answer was, and that means that God never spoke to him, and that Mohammed heard God, for if Mohammed had heard God, Mohammed would have not doubted what happened to him and would not have needed the women to convince him

Muhammed (saaw) spoke to an Angel, not God directly (at least not on the first encounter). So naturally, if anyone does not know what an Angel really looks like, how would they recognise one? Don't go for cheap shots mate, we could easily go through the Bible and see how it portrays Prophet's reacting to Angels and God (e.g. Lot didn't even know the three 'guys' that came to visit him were even Angels at first!!).

@RaheemAshraf90 read the hadiths and you will know if muhammed was crazy....haha. This guy was seriously mentally ill, who else would tell their followers to kill all dogs because they have bad jinns inside? a sane person? There is a good chance that muhammed suffered from paranoid schizophrenia

Their were many liars after Muhammad pbuh.who was a true prophet of God! All were exposed as Liars and have not spread their so-called faith. So understand Muhammad pbuh was the seal of Prophet's.

@AMoosin well see ive seen Yusuf Estes and truth is from all his sudies on the bible, he didnt look at its true history and stuff. Thats why im not convinced ny him. Well though i can realize that we have our differences in beliefs but the point is we both are her to woraship God. Hopefully you can know the truth and understand the love i have from God and how he is always interacting or using me to glorify him and just show me his love.... God Bless

@123surger I did deeply think about Islam and I believe it is the truth. I believe the Quran is the true word of God. I suggest that you watch videos by Yusuf Estes, or go to my channel and you should be able to see some good videos. I ask God for the truth and I believe Islam is the truth. @AMoosin well the video isnt a good example. see the truth is all muslims today have the same quran though that wasnt always. Thing is the only reason you truly believe the Quran is the true word of God is because you were ether raised to believe it or were talked about and believed in it. look i will admit i had concideration of being a christian, but after investigating it, i have found the truth. My life is better than ever, all i can say is my friend, read the bible or ask God for the truth!

@123surger I am not sure of the video and I do not get the meaning. The oldest Koran is found in a museum in Turkey. I believe the Quran is authentic and the truth since the time of the Prophet Muhammad (S). Many people memorized the Quran.
