Classic Route to the summit of Great Gable, setting out from Wasdale Head via Styhead Pass as far as Kern Knotts, then picking up the front climbers traverse to take in Napes Needle and The Sphinx Rock from The Dress Circle, before proceeding on to Beck Head to pick up the path to the summit, then returning via Styhead Tarn before heading down to Wasdale Head.

I stayed in that B+B (lingmell farm) as seen in first scene. Thoroughly recommmended for most of the high mountains! We walked Scafells, corridor route, then Great Gable, Kirk Fell. Basically, stay at that B+B for anything - he's really nice there as well!
