There was once this time before I heard anything about Nirvana, that I heard a song from a band called R.E.M. It was called "Let me in". It´s a few years ago, but still, the thing I remember the clearest was that my first thought when I heard Micheal Stipe sing the lyrics was "It´s almost like he is singing about me"... There were so many parts, were the lyrics matched my life perfectly. Later I found out about Nirvana, and they are now easily, together with Alice in chains, my biggest influence

Peace in tribute, sweet. Love and God bless.

people who listen to them and grunge i will always appreciate in my life.

Both musical geniuses but they both died for a stupid reason. Especially for Kurt because I almost committed suicide but thankfully I realized what I would have left behind when I was hospitalized.

My sister was a HUGE AIC and Nirvana fan, They announced that Kurt Cobain passed and she missed weeks of school, and when Layne Staley passed, she was never the same. These guys were and stil are her heroes. Now Mike Starr, she has fought her addiction for 5 years. You don't really realize how they really did touch lives.
