This pony is an SUPER mover; He is built up hill and he moves that way. He has very deep hocks, carried well up under him when he moves;his big powerful hindquarters and those deep hocks create the impulsion that lifts his front and gives him that gorgeous suspension and incredible extension. You will see all that very clearly in the video. He has a nice brisk walk and a comfortable true three beat canter. Very nicely balanced. His gaits are elastic and fluid and he has ideal overstride at the walk from behind. In one of the still shots you will see him with his front and rear foot forming a perfect "V" as the rear foot is about to overstep the print left by the front foot as it moves forward. All in all, this gorgeous pony is extremely well suited for dressage, whether ridden dressage, driven dressage, or both. He would be unbeatable at obstacle driving competition because he bends so easily; you will see him do a piroette in the video and
his body bends with ease. His back feet barely moved as he turned. He has been saddled and ridden three times, gentle but very green; Has had the
harness on once but never driven yet. This pony is very elegant Gypsy type; as you can see, complete with tons of feathers, double mane that lays on both sides of his neck and he even has the Gypsy "beard'. We are sorry his feathers don't show up as well as they should in the video; He is outside during the day and in at night. It had been raining here nearly every day; When our daughter called him, he came running right thru the mud to get to her. She brought him in and
tried to brush it off his feathers which only made it worse so she just went ahead and filmed him with the muddy feathers. His feathers are white,
long and silky when clean. His tail, as you can see in the video, drags the ground.

Gypsydale has typical Gypsy (and Dales) dispostion; He is sound, gentle, willing and friendly. Anyone would love this pony! He is gorgeous!
