I remember this add. Everytime I saw this advert I got really happy with a big smile on my face and I jumped for joy everytime I saw this ad. I used to say to my grandad after this ad finished I always said Grandad can you take me to Toys R Us please? Then my grandad always said come on then lets get into the car and go to your favourite magical place Toys R Us. Then I said yey. Toys R Us rocks I am an adult and I am still a Toys R Us kid. I remember the advert with the little girl and her bike.

This is wonderful!! Im so happy they brought it back. It came on tv this week and I stopped what i was doing and just watched like a 5 year old. Im 21 and what fab memories it brings.
The advertising was great. It was the place you simply HAD to go to, "what you mean there's millions?".

When was the York Toys 'R' us opened? I thought it'd been around since the 80's, but I guess not...

@Jennythebunnygirl they're back using it again now :D And they even use the transition into a box with text underneath at the end like they always used to haha.

Wow, things were expensive back in the early 90s! You'd get these in the pound shops these days.
I'd say it was an advert for the north as a whole, rather than the north east as Warrington is very much in the north west. It way have been on Channel 4 because they do north/south regional ad opts?
