James Roberts is researcher of the Center for Economics and International Trade for The Heritage Foundation. Roberts is also editor of the Index of Economic Freedom. The Index of Economic Freedom, published by the Heritage Foundation and the Wall Street Journal, is a global report that ranks the relationship between economic opportunity and prosperity of the countries through the researching and analysis of their economic policies. Although it is criticized by various leftist organizations, it has been useful for academics, journalists and investment bankers to get informed about the changes that economic freedom has brought to different nations around the world.
