Deven Rocco is just like any other active 11-year-old kid. He loves to shoot hoops, blast hip-hop music, ride around on his bike and hang with friends. There is just one thing that makes Deven a little different than his peers: He has Tourette's syndrome, a neurological disorder that causes uncontrollable tics and shakes that strongly affect his facial expressions, speech and bodily movements. An estimated 100,000 people in America are diagnosed with Tourette's, with 1,000 new cases every year. Deven's tics have plagued him since infancy. But when he gets busy on the basketball court or shows off his dance moves, he forgets about Tourette's and just has a good time. In those moments he's not a victim of Tourette's...he's just Deven.

Out of all these "I will not lose" campaigns, this one puts tears in my eyes. I think it's commendable that they are including stories that don't just involve mainstream celebrities...great campaign.
