This was me playing Forza 3 on Xbox 360. BTW, for those of you who are not familiar with the Forza series, it is impeccably realistic and therefore impeccably hard to drift in. I read some forums on how to drift, and they weren't too helpful, so I just tuned this Mazda RX-7 and put some decals(yes, I made those decals on the car) and spent many-an hours trying to figure out the science behind the drift. And I did figure it out, and I devised the requirements of drifting into four sections. A quarter of drifting is solely tuning and upgrades to your car, which must be rear wheel drive. Another 25% is dedicated to throttle control and countersteer, which takes the most practice and experimenting, in order for you to get around corners and not just spin out. 25% of drifting is comprised of entry angle and speed. Many people (including myself) just focus on the drifting part and do not realize that you can't try and drift around a hairpin turn at 120mph. You just can't. And the last, but not least 25% of drifting is timing. You have to know when to engage the e-brake, when to slow down, when to countersteer and blip the throttle, when to decide to end the drift and straighten out. Overall, it is very hard and takes a lot of practice, but as you can see, it pays off in the end.

  • nice drifting dude

  • @flyingblackguys and more cars too

  • @FenrisGuardian i can have full throttle and angle turn down your diff accel to 55 percent and diff decel to 79 to 85 percent and there you go full gas and full lock

  • All they need to do in this game, is put more smoke from the tires.

  • You do what i do to drift and feather the throttle, i've seen some people with lead feet (finger) and leave the throttle fully open and still make a perfect drift i'm not sure how that's possible though, nice vid though and nice job on the paint work

  • your send me a friend request we will drift some time Royal Whatthe Q
