"Racist" David Starkey on England Riots: 'The Whites have become Black'

David Starkey gives his opinions on the UK riots and says some easily misconstrued stuff, leading to much anger. Set to the theme of a great Englishman for some light comic relief. Note that "Racist" is in quotation marks please, this is what a lot of people have said and not necessarily the viewpoint of the poster.

In the video David Starkey made it seem like the reason the rioters stole things was because they were influenced by 'black culture'.
I think what he was really saying was that a certain type of 'black culture', the black 'gangster culture' was what had influenced these rioters.

I believe the mistake he made was thinking that his own culture isn't greedy, or wouldn't steal if it had the opportunity. I believe the essential problem is not really any one particular culture, but rather human nature in general.

From a evolutionary point of view, where we are just animals who fight to survive as a species, what the rioters did was perfectly logical. Most people today believe the evolutionary world view, yet get upset when people act logically and behave like the animals we are.

However, I don't believe humans are just animals, I believe they were created in the image of God and that God says there is a right and wrong.
But if someone believes their is no God, and that people are just animals that have evolved and survived by killing other animals, then what the rioters did was 'clever' and 'rational'

@28Zeppelin I agree and disagree with you. For over 100 years black culture has been so strong that it has affected the whole PLANET not just white culture. Look what Charlie Parker achieved. So good was his playing of the saxophone many musicians tried to be like him.
