Defend Jobs and Education on March 4, 2010!

Are you tired of the attacks on education? Sick of budget cuts, tuition hikes, evictions and foreclosures? Sick of billions going to wars and bank bailouts! On March 4, 2010, students and workers across the United States will take action to defend education against increased privatization of K-12 schools and budget cuts, layoffs, furloughs, tuition increases and student loan debt. Last fall California students took bold action, occupying a number of universities including the Univ. of Calif. - Berkeley and San Francisco State. The action and energy from California have sparked the interest of many across the U.S., who then reached out to California student-workers to make their March 4 statewide day of action a national day. It is time to fightback against the cuts, layoffs, fee hikes, and the re-segregation of public education. DO SOMETHING!
