  • Elizabeth met him when she was 13 and he was for her the love of her life and still in...........very few people can claim that.

  • @AthenaAmbrosia Well, the Queen has a great sense of duty. She believes in duty first; hence, I think the Queen will continue her reign.

  • @324wilson (Although your post is old) I am surprised to see a comment such as the one I left just on another video regarding HM and Prince Philips deteriorating health. I don't want to lose her as Queen, but I fear that when Philip passes on, her heart will be broken. Will she have the will to carry on without him? I hope she gives us many more years if at all possible.

  • @EleLoris

Yeah, indeed! you have real stories from real persons who gossip.

Ummm, you're the one sending me the same messages. Lest you forget you are commenting on my video. If you're so keen on not communicating with me why are you commenting on my video?

  • that was sweet. :)

  • @abcd21690 Sorry if I'm rude, but since you still talking about the same thing in spite of what I said before, I must answer to you in this form BELIEVE WHATEVER YOU WANT! I have enough of what I know and saw, and maybe you will understand this many years later if not... guess what I DON'T CARE!, even, whatever you think about me because, guess what; you don't know me as same as the royals! You "have" facts but I have a real story with real persons. Goodbye and please stop sending same messages.

  • @EleLoris You're entitled to your own opinion. I'm just standing behind what I know, which is based on facts. I'm just curious and please don't take it personally... but are you this pessimistic towards everyone around you? Truth is that when it comes to feelings, people always have the benefit of the doubt. Prince Philip and the Queen are still married after all these years without any concrete evidence of grave unhappiness. Hence, they have the benefit of the doubt of being in love.

  • @abcd21690 And I must have to add something my friend, not because you believe a person can or would do something or not; means that he/she can't/wouldn't do it. I understand your point and I respect it but I beg you to see the things in a neutral way in order to get a conclusion not based in love for the Royals or values prejudice or even blind trust but in rational and coherent way of thinking. Take care and regards; also excuse me if I don't answer again I said all what I have to said.

  • @abcd21690 I'm tired, and excuse me if I'm being rude, of this if you want to believe me or not, do it, seriously I don't have any problem with. I have many years and I know people very well. I passed years with so many people and studying many behaviors and attitudes that it's just hard now to don't intuit when a person is what shows or not (with more reason if there's a history background), but if your argument is that I don't "know" royals, then let me tell you, that you neither. Regards

  • @EleLoris He had a naval career that he was incredibly passionate about. Marrying Princess Elizabeth was not his only option back then. And I disagree with you, dreams and passion drive a person to do something despite plenty of obstacles. Only one thing could make a person give up one's dream and that is love and directing one's passion towards one's object of affection, which is a person he/she loves. Besides, King George VI did not even like him for his daughter.
