Korg MS2000 a brief introduction with electric friends

A quick look at the Korg MS2000 synth and a sound that got me playing Gary Numan's Are Friends Electric.
Bit of a boob, the title should be "Are" and not "Our".

First of all - thank you for inspiring us all. I also find the way you show off the synthesizer with music history - totally amazing.

Could you please let us know if this was a patch (name would be helpful)or something you created from scratch on the Gary Numan sound for Friends Electric.

I bought the Ms2000 on ebay and I totally love it.

@italy747 most of my sounds were the result of private knob twiddling sessions, no animals were hurt. The MS2k is designed to be twiddled, then store all your sounds to a computer librarian. I just did a twiddle, thought "hmm.. that reminds me of... Gary Numan" I found the track and worked out the parts.

just bought a korg MS200 last week , updated the firmware and dumped the stock patches, added a load of good ones from ms2000 yahoo user group.Started messing with my own patches,man this is one great synthesiser and the mod sequencer is awesome, so easy to program.If you have the chance,get one while they are still around, you wont regret it

@haggisbasheruk ..erm.. dare I say it? - get twiddling those knobs!! - the MS2000 is great for knob twiddling, it's a superb synth.

These are a world class instrument, combining the analogue controls and meaty digital processor power. The gold sovereign is a class touch. It's not even a sovereign, it's a MASSIVE JEWEL!!
