*UPDATE* NASCAR president Mike Helton on Tuesday announced Sprint Cup driver Carl Edwards has been placed on probation for the next three Sprint Cup races as a result of Edwards intentionally wrecking Brad Keselowski this past Sunday at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Im not a carl fan and def not a brad fan, but this is amazing. I do not watch nascar for the crashes but that mister brad deserved that...he has cause to many problems with everyone. They told the guys in the beinging just go out and race. Carl did.

wow so its ok to almost kill someone on purpose and almost put them in the grandstands and nothing happens, no parked races for the entire weekend, but, u wreck a guy undercation a texas in the truck series and u lose all ur sponsors, can't drive for entire race weekend, and ur team mate loses a sponsor? what a world...

@DrwMrchnt3 it's inevitable isn't it haha. People sit in the stands and watch TV and judge all day long, but you get out on the track and just flipping the ignition switch gets the adrenalin and emotions flowing. Then there's just so many things that happens out on the track, even during a 12 lap pure stock feature - it's like you can write a novel for every lap and sometimes you really can't control your own stupidity when all that intensity takes over the brain. gotta love it!

@DrwMrchnt3 yeah Brad helped Kyle BRUSH the wall... that's a big difference from all out wrecking somebody. If both of you can still race for the win, it's a no harm no foul situation. What Kyle did to Brad was idiotic.... but I like both drivers and I have never seen any race car driver NOT do something idiotic on the track. It is a terribly shallow trend these days for fans to always need to place blame. You can't blame somebody for some good ole paint swapping and wall banging.

@43labontepetty actually Brad pinching him in the wall was also Carl's fault... he made a dumb move in both cases. That being said, I like Carl Edwards... but both wrecks in this race involving these two were Carl's fault completely.

Carl is just crying because it had been a while since he had won a race and who better to keep that streak going than BK,Carl would really feel bad if he had killed BK so all you Carl fans stop whining he won the last TWO races of this past season.
