With US Vice-President Joe Biden

Joe Biden, US Vice-President, has come today to Brussels hosted by Javier Solana, EU High Representative. The meeting has been also attended by Alexandr Vondra, Czech Deputy Prime Minister for European Affairs, Karel Schwarzenberg, Czech Foreign Affairs Minister, Benita Ferrero-Waldner, Commissioner for External relations and neighbourhood policy and Jaap de Hoop Scheffer, NATO Secretary General.
Afghanistan has been one of the subjects of discussion after the meeting at the NATO. But Vice-President Biden -who accepted the invitation by Solana- came also to prepare the next visit of the US President, Barak Obama, in April to the Czech Republic. EU-US relations and international politics have been the other topics of the meeting.
