    No, Metal with synthetizers are industrial metal o synth metal but symphonic metal uses violin, cellos, contrabasses, flutes, pianos, soprano o mezzosprano voices and many clasiical music instruments, that's why i think symphonic metal is better than hardcore because hardcore usually only use fast songs with 3 or 4 power chords.
