This is a demonstration of the versatility of strat-style guitars (I guess many of you will notice I have a Tom Anderson rather than a Fender, but they are both as good as each other).

I have already done a video on the tones I get from my Cornford Hurricane with various guitars so I thought now was the time to give some credit to my favourite guitar - The Red Strat. Its worth pointing out that this guitar has the ability to add the bridge pickup to either the neck or both the neck and the middle by pulling the tone knob up. (I used this on the country lick).

I hope you enjoy the video :)

  • its not a stratocaster tho?

  • 11 people can't even play smoke on the water

  • ignition of the guitar in 3...2...1...

  • what pickups are in this? stock tom a's?

  • i'd say an HSS Anderson Drop Top is probably more versatile than this particular Anderson, still gorgeous tho

  • @alexorangeblues dude u play so good lol, how long u been playing man? thinking of starting myself... was thinking of buying les paul special 2 for lefties or maybe acoustic to begin with.

  • Sounds great!

  • Clean tones sounded great, but many guitar can easily beat any gain tone I heard in this video.

Strats are awesome though, best all around guitars in the market...although american fenders are seriously overpriced

  • No one can beat you in guitar playing..

  • how do you geat no hum out of those pickups? are they noiseless?
