  • In my country those tables are used as initiation tables for kids with like 5 years old... and we use tables with the size of a regular american table but the holes are much more narrow. Most of the kids i see playing (like 14~18 y/o) could do that on almost every break on such table. So that's not impressise at all. It makes this game only a matter of technic and some luck,

    Greetings from Portugal

  • @opiouzz Thanks for your comment, if it is so easy why do we not see Portuguese players dominating on the world stage? All cue games are a matter of technique and luck. Just for information the table is 7ft x 4ft in this video with rounded snooker style pockets and a slow napped cloth.

  • Yeah, it could. Maybe he sunk two yellow and a red on the break. I also think he choose red due to the easier run it gives.

  • @phdgraffiti correct man you tell them i play for england at this there are some quality players about ronnie o sullivan or darren appleton cant get any where near the last 32 in the world champ :)

  • 2 the idiot goin on bout table size etc. its actually just as hard if not harder bcoz of the smaller pockets. less margin 4 error etc. u could fit a bus in2 ur table!!!

  • I love watching UK 8 ball pool, so thanks for the vids! Im unclear though as to what the cuesportTV site is all about? Are these professional players? Are they actual ranking games being played? not sure what im watching. I have my own table. 7x4 like in these vids. however, I always thought that the actual tables used in tournaments etc were actually 8x4? Don't see many of them around personally. Id like to have a go on one. There was a UK pub style 8ft table in my local gyms bar for a while.

  • @sadistsannoyme

    Yes i do :)

  • it always looks so easy when ur watchin but when ur playin its so hard

  • @opiouzz I hear comments like that all the time. "In my country or back in my day we used to play on bigger tables with the super tight pockets and this is child's play". Several of these players play on the pro snooker tour like Mark Selby and Chris Melling,(multiple 147's) yet even they don't dominate at 8-ball. Yes the pots are easier but the table is congested and your position play, banks, combo's and shot planning need to be superior to win CONSISTENTLY. No cue game is won by potting alone

  • @ttdantt10384 LOL

  • Well, unfourtunatly there aren't many ways to break trough on this sport here in portugal, and though there are not many portuguese players in this sport there are some really good ones... and pretty young i dont feel like googling for their names but both in ages 19-21 one was the european 3 cushion billiard champion and the other won the budweiser league last year at Las Vegas.

  • @opiouzz shut up, no-one cares
