12 PM approx. Speakers begin speeches. If the true majority had voted in Wisconsin. Walker wouldn't have been voted into office. AN APATHETIC VOTER TURNOUT IN 2010 RESULTED THE INSTALLATION OF A REGIME WITH LESS THAN 26% OF THE VOTE. The lesson to be learned here is to get out and vote!

This is raw footage of hundreds of thousands of demonstrators who came to Madison to voice their anger at Scott Walker and his union busting "Budget Repair Bill". Best estimates are that 150,000 attended. Possibly many more.

Even though the "repair bill" was signed on Friday, March 11, this has not stopped the demonstrations. They have gotten bigger. For those who support the unions the next objective is to urge as many Wisconsin voters to get fired up enough to VOTE on April 5. VOTE YOUR CONSCIENCE! Either vote for Prosser or vote for Kloppenburg... BUT GET OUT AND VOTE!

What needs to be determined is whether the incumbent David Prosser gets reelected or whether JoAnne Kloppenburg assumes the judicial seat. Most democrats and "liberals" tend to think of David Prosser as a rubber stamp for Walker's ideology. JoAnne Kooppenburg, on the other hand, is considered to be an independent thinker who is not likely to side with Walker's ideology.

If Prosser is reelected it would not be good news for the labor movement. It would suggest another endorsement of Walker's political ideology.

If Kloppenburg wins, on the other hand, it would strongly signal to everyone that the political mood of Wisconsin has changed dramatically to such an extent that most feel galvanized enough to become more politically active. It is likely to result in reversing much of the current republican agenda, and agenda which seems focused on the task of dismantling the strength of unions. It would strongly suggest to a republican "majority" (currently enjoyed in both the Wisconsin house and assembly) that their "majority", their agenda, is in real danger of being voted out of office and/or recalled. Finally, if Kloppenburg wins it would suggest that the labor movement has been revitalized.
