I'm not a fan on Lincoln and his actions but wasn't killing him a bad idea for the South? He was is favor of more lenient policies towards the former confederacy than the other northern politicians.

So Judge Andrew Napolitano, born in Newark, New Jersey is apart of "the ONLY PEOPLE who think Lincoln was a tyrant?" I beg you to do research on this subject. Even look at what people like Andrew Napolitano and Thomas DiLorenzo are saying. Hell, go to Library of Congress and see for yourself what Lincoln has said in his own words. You'll walk away more informed.

@HansBooBee No, it's because the only people, literally the ONLY PEOPLE who think that Lincoln was a tyrant are Southerners who are still bitter over their defeat and attempt to rewrite history. Owner of this video blocked me, so I'm using a different account. I guess it's hard for him for me to tell the truth, so he has to block me in order for him to spread his ignorant propaganda.

@SargentMugen The US has been destroyed by politicians overtly ignoring the rule of law....a trend that Lincoln started. It takes a lot of courage to admit that everything you were taught was wrong.
-
@HansBooBee Lincoln saved your ass, and if it wasn't for him the U.S. would be destroyed.
-
@SargentMugen Really? How? He did everything to destroy our constitution, is that saving the United States, or preparing it for a big-government hell hole?
-
@RedShirtArmy Lincoln did no such thing.

@RedShirtArmy The South were hardly moral were they?
-
@SonicobbsessedR2 They were allowed to leave, they didn't have to "escape." Once they surrendered they left with military honour. The fort they were in controlled the harbour. It was the Feds' centre for inflicting their hated tariff upon Southerners. Obviously, an independent SC could not have a foreign government stationing soldiers in its primary harbour. None of it would have been necessary had the Union soldiers left. They had plenty of opportunities.
-
@RedShirtArmy Yeah, because trying to kill them isn't just as bad. It was only by luck any soldiers escaped alive, that certainly wasn't the intention. And excused me, how does a fort of 85 soldiers on an isolated island "preserve the taxation of southerners"? They where there because the fort was government property and decided not to withdraw, its not like they had much real military power by staying there.
Lincoln only did what he had to do to save the United States.

@SargentMugen So, if I think I need to kill half a million people and burn a dozen or so cities to the ground to "save the United States" that would be okay with you?
