@clickingpinging - Then I'd suggest you play Metroid II: Return of Samus :3 Metroid Fusion is basically a spiritual succsessor to Metroid II, likewise with Metroid Other M (in my opinion).

The Metroid Times states that Metroid: Other M's story takes place before Metroid Fusion's story came around.

This, along with "On the Way to X" and the Phendrana Drifts theme on Metroid Prime, is the best videogame music I've heard.
