  • thedharmaprincess : I feel that it is more like the mindset that is important rather than who has more experience or who has the better enviroment. Having said that, it's not easy for me to keep my mindset straight...

  • susanveritas: observing and thinking over the debate is a blessing itself. A blessing is when the whole thing makes a deep imprint in the mind that will bring better changes..

  • cutepikapete: the debate itself is not Dharma but when it benefits people and makes them think deeper...that is Dharma

  • cutepikapete: I love it too. it's really alive and it is here that your practical experience with the Dharma gets tested because if you do not have any there isnt much to talk about

  • triplegems118: And you could start a debate like that with some like minded friends. That way you guys can help improve each other....smart huh

  • peterhoh1231: my friend is participating this sunday 12 Apr so i'll be going over to give him support. He thinks a lot so he will make a very good debater :)

  • peterhoh1231 : And dont forget practical experience, practical experience is much more important than all the books and text...

  • specialKforHumans: the whole reason of taking both sides is so that you dont get biased and stuck with only one point of view. I find it very clever!

  • chickensoupbowl: the delay should only be 1-2 week's time.. shouldn't be very long so its alright i guess

  • chickensoupbowl: dont forget to say hi to Setrap at his quaint little chapel! Maybe I'll make pearl offerings there to support my friend who will be part of the debate..
