R.J.Rhythm Entertainments Wedding Reception Greenbank Hotel Falmouth 7th May 2011.m2ts

Tonight's event was a Wedding Reception at The Greenbank Hotel in Falmouth and I must say this is a beautiful venue and really laid out well and the staff were really friendly and helpful, I really must say it was a pleasure to work at this venue and yes it was also a first for R.J.Rhythm Entertainments and the crew. It seems somehow that since I have started working regularly in Falmouth we are picking up more and more private work in the area but none of it seems to be coming from my work at Mango Tango's but all from the internet and it just seems so strange that until Mango Tango's we have never worked the Falmouth Area before, so it seems one hell of a coincidence lol.
Well with me on this day was Darren, Annette and myself we set off from my office at about 4.30pm and also picked up Myles who is our Bar Manager at Mango's on the way from Truro as he was giving us a hand to unload and set up. We arrived at the venue for 6.00pm and Myles and Darren unloaded the van for me then Myles went off to work leaving myself, Darren and Annette to set up for the evening. We took out time setting up as we had plenty of time and I wanted this show to look perfect in this new venue for us. When we had finished setting up the show looked great I must say. Well after a sound check and positioning of the lighting system we were ready to go. The Wedding Party started arriving at about 7.30pm and we played background music as they arrived and up to the Buffet as this gave people a chance to sit and chat before the party really started. The Buffet was served round about 8.30pm then we waited for everyone to be served and eat before calling the Bride and Groom up for the first dance.

We called the Bride and Groom onto the dance floor for the first dance and afterwards we played another slowish song which was "Bring Me Sunshine by Morcome and Wise" which was another song of the Bride and Grooms choice and they had a dance routine for this track which went down really well, actually to can see some of this on our Video Page by clicking Here. after this we called others up to join in dancing along side the newly married couple. After that we went straight into Party mode and all I can say is throughout the whole night we had most people up on the dance floor and they were the perfect party crowd all night long with a terrific atmosphere all of this evening.

We finished at Midnight and was asked to play on by the crowd and we managed to squeeze another couple of tracks in which was quite sad as I think it could have gone on a lot longer. When we had finished Darren and myself packed away the show and then Darren loaded up the van for me once the show had been packed away which was a great help. It took us about an hour to pack away and get loaded up then we made our way back home after and long and successful brilliant evening.
