Funny you should ask, Helimax sent me out a brand new gyro yesturday because the thought my gyro was defective. The new gyro acted exactly the same, so I played around with my radio and finaly figure it out. Know she locks into HH great. I will post a short vid on how I set it up.

Will try to fly today and get some footage, nothing speacial thogh.

I did get the gyro thing worked out though, when the new one came, it acted the same as the original so I new something else had to be the culprit.

Will post a video to show how it was done.

i love these heli max i just got one the other day and im putting a huges 500d fuselage its gonna look really sick when i get it... but i never had any issues with this heli.. flies really good and with idle up it has more stability but fly time is less around 7 min. with out i can push it to at least 12min with a 2200 lipo and 15 with a 2250lipo

Ifsy for example one didnt have a radio already, would ou still get the axe with the futaba? Or should I get the B400 with the spectrum Dx6i? Thanks

Yesterday, I tried to hover mine for the first time, with training gear. It got about 2 feet off the ground, held the tail pretty good. 45 sec later, the tail started spinning counter clockwise. I sat it down ok, then saw that there was no tail rotor movement, and the light was out on the gyro. Turns out that I had a bad gyro. The capacitor in the gyro came loose. It needs soldereing on better. A new gyro is on it's way. I will be doing an internal inspection, and beef it up if it needs to be.
