Mitrice Richarson, 25 year old African American woman, was arrested on a minor charge by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department at a restaurant along the Pacific Coast Hwy in Malibu, CA on September 16 at 10PM. She was released on September 17th at 1AM from the Lost Hills station, 14.5 miles away from the restaurant in total darkeness with no ID, no cell phone, no money, no way home. This is the journey she took to where she was last seen at 6AM that morning 7.5 miles away. She has now been missing three weeks!

this is a much shorter distance to woodbluff where she was last reported. actually its preety much in the DIRECT path of woodbluff.

Mitrice did not know the area AT ALL and was having a mental crisis. So she was just wandering or trying to find her way back down hill. It is also possible someone picked her up and perhaps abused her. She had no other clothes than her T-shirt and jeans. Meanwhile her mother was constantly calling the Sheriffs to see when she could pick her up and they gave her vague replies.

This video is 100% accurate. She left the Sheriff station at 1:30 AM and was seen by a highly reliable source around 5:30 to 6:00 AM, 7.5 miles from the station at Coles and Woodbluff. This is substantiated by Sheriff Dept tapes of the converstion with the person who spotted her. From there she has not been seen up to today exactly one month later. This is the most probable, direct route. Sheriff showed up 3 hrs later. She was long gone.

@GeorgiaPeach87 I agree. I firmly believe Mitrice never walked that long route. Her body was recovered approx. 2 miles away from the Sheriff's station. The man that allegedly spotted her on his property is a liar.

wow that would be a long way on foot to walk back to where the guy said she was on his porch. It's frustrating to know that something does not seem right but nobody involved wants to speak up. how could she walk from the police station headed back towards the initial place, and end up somewhere else. She would have been too tired to do all that. I think somebody picked her up possibly thinking she was a prostitute and they were the culprits. The sheriffs dept needs to admit and be accountable.

I have a question,I don't know much about california but is it possible that she may have used a pay phone to call someone that night because i saw a couple of restaurants at the beginning of the video, not sure what time mc donalds close there but maybe she used a pay phone to call someone collect and maybe there is a record of someone placing a call that night and time...I truly don't believe she made it that far without a vehicle. I have followed this case from the beginning and was praying

There is NO WAY she walked from that distance in the dark @ 1:15AM!!..From what I understand she was terrified of the dark..The cops are bullshitting and lying about what really happened. I believe that some psycopath(s) within the sheriffs dept killed her..THERE! I SAID IT!!

@u8x7251 The mental illness is for the people out there who believe that the PD could do no wrong but once again this is not about who killed or not this is about how the PD were the cause of her death and yet they take 1/4 of the blame. who knows how many "Black People" they have released at that time. The ignorant reason of her death is that she had illness and she wondered off lots of miles by herself and ended up in a canon and died from natural causes thats what they want you to believe.
